Camp Got Friends
Camp Got Friends is designed specifically for children and young adults with special needs. This week long day camp is jam packed with social, recreational, and educational activities. The camp offers music class, arts and crafts, cooking, sports, science experiments, field trips all over Los Angeles and a Friday carnival to celebrate the end of the week. All of our campers are paired with a student volunteer who together share the experience and learn from each other.
To the Friendship Foundation, summer is all about the beach, water, friends, and fun! We have Fun Fridays that include traveling around LA to a variety of exciting destinations as well as partnerships with local beach and surf camps. Highlights have included river rafting, camping trips, Knott's soak city, snorkeling off of Catalina Island, and capping off the season with a bonfire at Dockweiler State Beach. Summer activities are made available to all of our Friendship Kids and volunteers through an email sent out every spring.
