Friendship Foundation Volunteers

Nothing makes children feel better about themselves than spending time with friends that truly care about them. Through The Friendship Foundation volunteer program remarkable bonds are forged between the children with special needs and their new friends.

The volunteer's commitment and willingness to give of their time reminds us that today's men and women, young and old, are caring, compassionate and dedicated to making a dramatic difference in our community.

In addition to making an impact on a child, a volunteer will see the impact their work makes on themselves. By helping others the volunteer helps themselves, feeling more fulfilled, self confident and empowered. The Friendship Foundation strives to build the leaders of tomorrow. The Volunteer Program began in 2005 with 22 members. Today, more than 1,200 dedicated individuals participate in this wonderful program from all levels of education.
